Bournemouth have completed the re-signing of Max Gradel, four years after the Ivory Coast international left the club.
The 27-year-old has signed a four-year contract with the Cherries, subject to Premier League approval.
Gradel, who had two separate loan spells with the newly promoted Premier League club in the 2007-08 season, scored 31 goals in 100 appearances for French Ligue 1 side Saint Etienne.
“He had real ability and was an eye-catching performer,” manager Eddie Howe said.
“Our supporters took to him straight away and, hopefully, they will do that again. I have no doubts that they will rekindle their love for him.”
Gradel began his career at Leicester City in 2006 and had loan spells with Leeds United and Bournemouth between 2007 and 2009.
He made his move to Leeds permanent in 2010 before leaving for St. Etienne in August 2011. The 41-cap Ivoirian, scored 17 goals in 23 stars for St Etienne last season.
