A woman was killed while trying to save her boyfriend’s life. The woman of Texas, was hit by a car while trying to save her boyfriend who was attempting to commit suicide. “Approximately 12:35 a.m. on Saturday, Michael Thomas sat down in a lane of traffic in an attempt to get run over by a vehicle,” the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said.
Police said that the girlfriend of Thomas, whose name was not released, was trying to physically drag him to safety when she was struck by a vehicle. Thomas was taken into custody to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
The female driver who struck and killed the woman, stopped after the accident. She was not drunk, and she will not face charges, police said.
