Midfielder Cletus Itodo says he has been cleared to play for Shooting Stars when the Nigeria Professional Football League resumes.
The experienced playmaker told AfricanFootball.com that all necessary paperwork for him to feature for the ‘Oluyole Warriors’ “has been completed”.
Itodo joined Shooting Stars from Sunshine Stars during the week 9 transfer window, but has had to wait till the reopening of the mid-season transfer window to make his debut.
“Everything is okay now for me to play for Shooting Stars,” the former Enyimba, Insurance of Benin and Abia Warriors midfielder told AfricanFootball.com.
Itodo played under current 3SC coach Gbenga Ogungbote at Sunshine Stars when they reached the semi-finals of the Caf Confederation Cup and Champions League between 2009 and 2010.
The NPFL is on its mid-season break
