A man was killed while trying to flee from police, police in Michigan said. The body of 47-year-old Christopher Henry was cut in half at the waist after crashing while leading police on a high-speed chase, police said.
“I have seen some nasty crashes, but it’s been awhile since I have seen one this bad,” State police Lt. David Simon said. Police suspect that Henry had been drinking before the horrific accident.
Police said that they saw Henry speeding and swerving around 10:00 p.m. in Bay City, and he sped off as soon as they activated their sirens. Investigators were still awaiting the results of toxicology test in the fatal accident.
