A woman said that she was shocked to find ammunition in a birthday
gift she got from Toys R Us. Jasemin Stephenson of Virginia, ordered a
Minecraft Foam Diamond Sword from the Toys R Us website as a gift for
her son Connor’s 7th birthday.
When the package arrived to the family’s Virginia Beach home,
Stephenson said that she was shocked to find 800 rounds of 9mm
ammunition in the box with the sword.
Stephenson said that she feels that her son’s safety was at risk as
he may have opened the box. Kathleen Waugh, a Toys ‘R’ Us spokesperson,
said: “We are in the process of looking into this matter with our
shipping carrier to determine how this may have occurred.”
