Thieves Break Into Cellphone Store, Steals Only Fake Phones

Police are looking to arrest thieves who broke into a cellphone store to steal display phones, police in Ohio said.

Columbus police said that the thieves who broke into the Verizon store, left with just several dummy phones, which are of no value to consumers.
The thieves raided the store during the night on Wednesday.  The store is located on Main Street. According to the police investigation, the thieves used large rocks to break the glass of the back door to gain entry into the store. Once inside, several dummy phones were cut from the display.
According to police, the store has been broken into in the past and has taken steps to deter criminals. The real phones are locked in a safe at night. The store however, suffered significant damage. So far, no arrests have been made.
